Sergio Aguero scored his first ever goal as a Barcelona player in El Clasico against Real Madrid on Sunday, but couldn’t help his team get something out of the match.
The Argentine forward has faced Real Madrid 15 times in total, but he has never managed to come out victorious from a duel with Los Blancos.
In his third appearance as a Barcelona player, Aguero managed to score his first goal for the Blaugrana after replacing Ansu Fati. Yet he had no time to celebrate the goal, as the players had to rush back to their own half in their attempt to turn the game around.
However, they failed to do so as Real Madrid defeated the Catalan side 2-1 and Aguero has now experienced five draws and 10 defeats in 15 games against Los Blancos, against whom he has registered five goals.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have lost each of their last four Clasicos against Real Madrid, with their last victory coming back in March 2019 when they won 1-0 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu thanks to an Ivan Rakitic goal. The Catalan side haven’t grabbed a home win against Real Madrid since October 2019.
