Liverpool are monitoring the progress of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham with the aim of signing him next summer.

Bellingham has been one of the standout performers for Dortmund since joining them last year with the Reds keen on bringing him back to England net summer according to the Daily Star.

According to the reports, the Reds are keen on signing Bellingham for a club-record fee of £80 million next summer.

The 18-year-old is currently on international duty with England, having broken into Gareth Southgate’s squad for the European Championships when he was still 17.

After failing to sign a midfielder this summer, Klopp wants to bring another player at the center of the park in the coming season with Bellingham said to be the ideal candidate.

Liverpool are yet to replace Georginio Wijnaldum following his departure to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, and their sole signing came in the form of French defender Ibrahima Konate.

Should they sign Bellingham, the Reds would mean going above the £75 million price they paid for Virgil van Dijk in 2018.
