Spanish giants Real Madrid are expected to move for French youngster Edourdo Camavinga as Zinedine Zidane continues to rejuvenate his side.
The 17-year-old is currently at French top division side Rennes and has proven to be a sensational player with the way he moves on the field.
The defensive midfielder plays aggressive on the pitch and isn’t afraid of any contact as he’s scouted to tackle his opponents often. An athletic player coupled with great anticipation of his opponents, Camavinga would clearly serve as an asset for Madrid.
The energy Camavinga brings can complement the extensive rotation of Los Blancos. The dominance of Zinedine Zidane as a cerebral manager has proven to be victorious for Real Madrid in the past few years.
Camavinga can be paired up well with Casemiro, taking some pressure off the 28-year-old’s shoulders given how steady the youngster can be on the field.
Throughout Camavinga’s career, he’s tallied four tackles a night to go along with 1.3 interceptions, 1.2 clearances and a dribbled past per game rate of 1.8.
It will be interesting to see how Zidane will further improve moving forward and if they’re able to sign someone like Camavinga to contribute to the success of Real Madrid.
