Netherlands-born Ghanaian youngster Imanuel Bonsu, is officially a professional footballer after signing for FC Utrecht’s first team.
The 17-year old signed the three-year contract for Eredivisie after showing his full abilities in the youth divisions.
“Imanuel is a right-footed, physically strong controlling midfielder. He is strong defensively; a real ball conqueror,” said the club’s Technical Director Jordy Zuidam.
“He has the ability to cover the entire field, is a so-called box-to-box player. In recent seasons he also made the necessary important goals. Imanuel is a real team player and we are happy that we have joined him for three seasons,” he added.
