Angel Gomes became the first player born this century to play in the Premier League. Angel Gomes came on as an 88th-minute substitute for Manchester United against Crystal Palace – at the age of 16 years and 263 days old.
7. Michael Obafemi – Southampton (06/07/2000)
Obafemi made his professional debut as a substitute in the 82nd minute of a 1–1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on 21 January 2018.
8. Rekeem Harper – West Bromwich Albion (08/03/2000)
Harper made his professional Albion debut on 12 August 2017 as a second-half substitute in the West Brom’s 1–0 win over Bournemouth, in doing so becoming only the second Premier League player to have been born in the 2000s
