Bayern Munich and Manchester City will not enter into any swap deals for players David Alaba and Leroy Sane.
Rumours of such a deal had surfaced on a day that Barcelona and Juventus were involved in a swap deal involving midfielder Arthur and Pjanic.
The Athletic through journalist David Ornstein, however, maintained that Bayern has absolutely no intention of including David Alaba in their imminent swop for Sané.
Alaba’s contract with Bayern is expected to lapse next summer and the Bundesliga club is yet to offer him a new deal something that has triggered rumours about his future.
It is believed that Bayern would rather have Alaba stay at the club and lose him for nothing next year as he is vital to the club’s success and will hope they can convince the Austrian to stay in these final 12 months.
The player has been used as a centre back this season due to the success of Alphonso Davies and he is excepted to slot in the same position in the new season should they convince him to stay.
Sane on the other hand is expected to leave City at the end of the season after Guardiola admitted that the German refused to sign a new deal.
