Inter Milan could be on the verge of signing Achraf Hakimi, a transfer that would have several good reasons to take place.

Achraf Hakimi, barring any last-minute surprises, will play for Inter Milan next season. Sky Sport’ sounded the alarm and ‘AS’ confirmed that he will move to Serie A.

The latter gives several good reasons for the Moroccan full-back to end up playing for the Nerazzurri. Achraf will play his last match with Borussia Dortmund this Saturday, and they have already signed his replacement: Meunier.

Achraf has been on loan for two seasons in the German team. This summer he has to come back to Real Madrid, but the Moroccan international told the team that he will not do it if he is not guaranteed the position of Carvajal.

Knowing that Carvajal will continue to be the favourite for the right-back position, Achraf asked for a transfer. That’s when Real Madrid began to open the door.

That’s where Inter come in: they have offered him a starting place on the right wing. Conte uses a system with three centre-backs and two wingers, the same system that Borussia Dortmund use, so Achraf is already used to playing in that position.

Another factor to take into account is the economic aspect. According to AS, Inter Milan has given Achraf a contract for five seasons at a rate of almost five million euros per year.

In addition, Real Madrid is looking forward to raising money after the crisis of COVID-19. If the transfer materializes, the player would leave almost 40 million euros in the white coffers
