Real Madrid have announced the death of former player, Luis Sorribas Moya who played for the club in the 1963-64 season.

The newspaper ‘AS’ informed that the cause was the coronavirus.

Real Madrid were saddened by the death of Luis Sorribas Moya at 75 years old, who played for the club in the 1963-4 season, in which Los Blancos won La Liga.

According to the newspaper ‘AS’, the ex-Madrid player passed away because of the coronavirus.

“Real Madrid C. F., its president and its board of directors are deeply saddened by the passing away, at the age of 75, of Luis Sorribas Moya, a Real Madrid player in the 1963/1964 season, when the league title was won”, Madrid expressed in a statement.

Real Madrid conveyed “its sincerest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones”.
