Luton Terminated Contract With Manager, Graeme Jones

England club, Luton, terminated their contract with boss Graeme Jones on Friday. After spending roughly twelve months at the club, Jones left the Championship side through mutual consent.

Luton disclosed this in a statement on their official website.

“Given the current circumstances affecting not only football but the world as a whole, the club is taking an early move to restructure to reduce its cost base and to create efficiencies within the football department.

“As a result of amicable discussions, Graeme Jones and the board of directors have agreed on terms upon which he will leave his role with immediate effect.

“The board would like to place on record their thanks to Graeme Jones for his efforts over the last twelve months.

“We wish Graeme and his family well during these difficult times for everyone, and in his future career,” it read.

Luton currently sits in 23rd place on the log with nine matches remaining.
