The Bundesliga reported that the games will resume on May 9, pending approval by the Government
Games across the top division in Germany have been suspended after 11 March because of the coronavirus pandemic.
But now league authorities have revealed that matches will continue from May 9 but that they must get an agreement from the government first.
DFL CEO Christian Seifert said in a press conference: “Bundesliga would be ready to start playing on the 9th of May. BUT the DFL does not take the decision. They are completely trusting the government to decide when it is possible.”
